Daniel Lisson is an independent artist, illustrator and designer based in Cologne. His practice combines the precision of design with an intuitive approach to painting, drawing on graffiti culture and handmade illustration.
Experimental screenprinting, collage and spray paint form a playful visual language of color and contrast. In works on paper and fabric, layered surfaces and cut forms give the materials a presence of their own, exploring lightness, gratitude and the emotional possibilities of color.
